The recent passage of Hurricane Michael in northern Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina left a lot of destruction in its path that everyone is aware of. In order to share our good fortune in getting spared any significant damage so far this hurricane season, Actron and its employees held a bake sale to raise money for the American Red Cross to use specifically in hurricane relief efforts. We are very proud to say that through the generosity of our employees, along with the pledged matching contributions of Actron, we were able to send the Red Cross a check in the amount of $2500. Hopefully this can provide some small help to those who are suffering the most. Thank you Actron employees for this generosity and helping those in need.

Three employees from Actron’s management team attended the Quality of Leadership (QOL) program in Clemson, South Carolina taught by Dr. Mike Bagley. Dr. Mike has had over 7,000 graduates worldwide complete his class and has many success stories.
The objectives of the program
- Understand the difference between managing “things” and leading “people”
- Develop knowledge, skill, and expertise for using a wide variety of leadership tools, techniques, practices, and actions for the purpose of developing people, implementing change, and growing the business
- Develop a personal leadership action plan
- Provide motivation and inspiration for helping managers, peers, and co-workers re-energize, reinvent, and recommit to being the best that they can be
As one of the team members that went to the class, I can truly say that it was very inspiring and there was never a dull moment. Dr. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire course.

Kobe Steel Falsification Risk to Metals Supply Chain
To All Our Valued Customers:
As you know, Kobe Steel recently announced that certain materials it sold and shipped from September 2016 through August 2017 were not compliant with material specifications. These items were falsely labeled as meeting customer specifications, industry standards and/or having properties they did not have.
Upon receipt of Kobe Steel’s notice, Actron Entities Inc. immediately contacted its suppliers to determine whether they or any of their subcontractors utilized Kobe Steel materials in products provided to Actron during this timeframe.
We are pleased to report that this inquiry resulted in no reported purchases, directly or indirectly, from these suppliers that could have impacted Actron and its customers.
Actron will continue to monitor this situation and work with our suppliers. We do not intend to make further contact with our customers unless we are aware of problems with products Actron delivered to them that were impacted by this notice.
Thank you!
